Jim KellyJim Kelly – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

Jim leads a highly professional team of associates dedicated to delivering value-added strategic management services to help our clients grow government business and diversify government products into commercial markets. He focuses the company's tremendous experience base and network of government expertise to assist clients in identifying new business opportunities and in winning new government work. He has over 30 years of broad engineering, program and general management as well as marketing experience in both the private and public sectors.

Jim has held three senior management assignments in key positions including Deputy Associate Director at the Office of Management and Budget, Director of Administrative and Management Policy at the Department of the Interior, and Program Manager at the Department of Labor.

Tim VigotskyTim Vigotsky – President and Acting Vice President,
Commercial Services

With an extensive background in agency operations, professional consulting and financial services, Tim has responsibility and oversight for all consulting operations of the company including both its government and commercial divisions. Tim focuses on the proper execution of Kelly, Anderson's business model of providing superior professional work to clients while maintaining a corporate culture that gives associates rewarding, flexible careers and work-life balance. Additionally, Mr. Vigotsky leads the Commercial Services division where he provides strategic planning, business development and client services.

Tim joined Kelly, Anderson after 25 years of Federal service and five years of commercial sector experience. Tim has held several senior Federal management positions including Director of the Department of the Interior's National Business Center and Associate Director for Management for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Nancy KellyNancy Kelly – Chief Operating Officer and Principal, Energy
and Environment

Nancy possesses extensive experience in policy formulation with specialties in health, energy, and international development. At Kelly, Anderson, she manages the financial and contracting operations of the company as well as the Energy and Environmental Business Unit, leading a team of experts supporting clients bidding on a wide-range of Department of Energy procurements. She served for four years as the Counselor to the Secretary of Energy.

Nancy served on the staff of two Presidential Commissions: the President's Commission on the Human Immunodeficiency Virus Epidemic and the Quadrennial Commission.

Jason KimJason Kim – Chief Financial Officer

Jason directs and manages financial and accounting activities within the organization.  He is responsible for internal accounting policies and procedures, financial systems management, and financial reporting and analysis.  He provides support and counsel to both the Executive Management Team and Board of Directors on key decisions pertaining to corporate strategies, policies and issues.  He works with Business Practice Managers on issues related to pricing, project management, and contracts administration.  In addition, he serves as a member of the Management Team and Trustee to the Kelly, Anderson & Associates ESOP.  Jason holds a BBA degree from the George Washington University's School of Business.

Dennis Fischer – Outside Board Member

Dennis has served in numerous government-wide and corporate management roles. He served on the Government Information Technology Services Board and was elected as the first secretary/treasurer of the Federal CFO Council. He was named to the General Accounting Office Governmental Auditing Standards Advisory Council. Twice, he was the representative for all departments on the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) Steering Committee. He also represented all civilian agencies on the Cost Accounting Standards Board.

Dennis served as the Commissioner of the General Services Administration's (GSA's) Federal Technology Service, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GSA and the deputy CFO of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Stewart RemerStewart Remer – Vice President, Government Services

As part of Kelly, Anderson's senior management group, Stew directs and manages all activities for the Company's Government Services business line to include human capital projects, human resources staff augmentation, financial management and audit, information technology, information systems integration, organization and management strategic planning, program evaluation and organization reviews, procurement, surveys, training and needs assessment.  Stew oversees operations, financials and recruiting while mentoring teams and offering strategic guidance to the practices within Kelly, Anderson's Government Services business line.

Under Stew's leadership, the Government Services practice has cultivated an impressive and diverse government client base, including over 40 Federal agencies and a number of local government agencies.

As part of a 34-year Federal career within seven Federal agencies, Stew has served in senior executive capacities as the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer and Human Resources Director for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and as Human Resources Director for the Bureau of the Census.

Mike StaleyMike Staley – Principal, Government Business Support Services

Mike brings to Kelly Anderson senior-level expertise in auditing and inspecting health care activities, financial, acquisition, and property management functions, benefit programs, and other internal control processes gained during his outstanding career as an auditor, inspector, and management analyst. Mike is a Certified Government Financial Manager, and his background with the Department of Veterans Affairs and in the Office of Inspector General community makes him an invaluable component of our government business.

Mike served as the Assistant Inspector General for Auditing and Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Healthcare Inspections for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In these roles, he directed and supervised auditors, management analysts, and healthcare inspectors in overseeing the healthcare activities and benefit programs administered by the Department's 235,000 employees.

Diane CochranDiane Cochran – Principal, Human Capital Services

Diane has had over 30 years of Federal human capital experience and manages the business line that provides human capital consulting activities to Federal agencies. She is responsible for the strategic positioning and marketing of services, proposal development, contract negotiations, and ongoing contract oversight. She is able to provide operational support in all HR functional disciplines and strategic support for human capital planning, performance management, workforce and succession planning, as well as policy development.

During her Federal career, Diane worked in the Departments of the Navy, Air Force, Energy, and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), at a variety of locations in the continental United States and abroad. She has managed operational human resources operations, human resources policy, and strategic human capital planning. As a senior executive, Diane was a Deputy Associate Director at OPM and a Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Department of Energy.

Ari GerstmanAri Gerstman – Government Business Practice Associate

Ari provides Business Development, Capture Management, and Contract Administration services to the Government Services Division.  Ari supports the Division by making bid/no bid decisions, developing proposals in response to government solicitations, staffing contracts, and ensuring contract compliance.  He brings an understanding of procurement and the government's administrative services needs to match the right talents with each requirement and derive value for the government and the Division.  In addition, Ari provides technical services to the federal government in Human Capital Strategic planning and Executive Resources operations.

He assists the Government Services Division Vice President in formulating long-term Division strategy vis-à-vis the changing government marketplace.  He seeks out new procurement vehicles and portals to provide services to the government and works with teaming partners to develop advantageous client-sharing relationships.

Stacia CouchStacia Couch – Government Business Practice Associate

Stacia works in the government services business practice to provide a full range of services to its current clients, future clients, and consultants. Her expertise lies in the areas of technology utilization, marketing, business development, and project and people management. Stacia supports the business practice by identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals, staffing contracts, and on-boarding and training new and existing consultants.

Stacia's research and communications background- which includes conducting public policy research, designing and implementing surveys, teaching and training on a variety of subjects, and providing marketing and social media strategy consulting services in both the public and private sectors- brings a unique perspective not only to Kelly, Anderson itself but also to each of its clients. She has also co-authored eleven research publications, including Education Crossroads (2007) and Understanding Tennesseans' Attitudes about Education, Chapter 4 of An Economic Report to the Governor of the State of Tennessee (2006).

Tony PooleTony Poole – Vice President, Secure Technologies and
Financial Services

Tony specializes in providing marketing, management and public policy counsel to a diverse client industry base. With a concentration on building new product and service markets in the public and private sectors, he assists clients in formulating and implementing strategic plans to capture new business opportunities in the Federal and State government sectors.

Working with both client management and technical personnel, Tony also provides counsel on government policies and priorities affecting existing and future requirements. He has been instrumental in the formulation of strategies for the development, introduction, and subsequent implementation of sophisticated anti-counterfeit security devices/documents for major agencies of the United States Government, most notably the Department of the Treasury.

Steve MichelsenSteve Michelsen – Principal, Alternative Energy

Steve is a leader in the application of Federal procurement and financial assistance policy and has extensive experience with competitive and non-competitive Government procurements. Steve has led client teams in the development and delivery of bid strategies, proposal management, procurement intelligence, competitive analysis, independent reviews, as well as oral presentation development and contract negotiation strategies. Prior to his retirement from Federal service, Steve served as the Director of DOE Office of Contract and Resource Management, Office of Procurement and Assistance Management.

A major portion of this practice is focused on the life-cycle issues of alternative energy and environment projects that are either subject to Federal incentive programs or are themselves independent commercial ventures. Steve has been involved in second-generation ethanol, biodiesel, geothermal, energy storage, vehicle electrification and wind projects since coming to KAA. He has successfully led numerous teams to prepare and submit loan, loan guarantee, grant or cooperative agreement applications to the U.S Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Maritime Administration and other Federal agencies.

Gran PaulesGran Paules – Principal, Aerospace and Environmental Services

Gran brings to Kelly, Anderson over 30 years of senior level engineering management experience in the Federal government, predominantly with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Providing expert knowledge of NASA-related scientific endeavors, advanced technology development, and systems engineering practices, he manages a business line which provides comprehensive services spanning the full range of government and commercial business support from strategic positioning and marketing to proposal development, contract negotiations, and ongoing contract management support.

Richard GilchristRichard Gilchrist – Senior Practice Manager

With an extensive background in business development, management consulting and business practice management, Rick brings a wealth of knowledge to the Commercial Services Division at Kelly, Anderson. As the Senior Practice Manager for Secure Technologies and Financial Services, Rick specializes in providing marketing, management and consulting to a diverse client industry base with a strategic focus in business development, market penetration and new business opportunities in the Federal and State government sectors.

Rick's executive management and business background brings a distinctive perspective not only to Kelly, Anderson & Associates, itself, but also to each of their clients. Rick's 15 years of experience in consultative analysis and management within multiple industry verticals helps our partners grow and exceed the needs of their clients. He has played an integral role in several mergers and acquisitions, the creation and management of new business lines, and strategic business plan development for leading institutions of Higher Education, government contractors, consulting firms, and multiple Fortune 500 and Inc. 500 companies.

Michelle SaltaMichelle Salta – Principal Associate, Internal and
External Relations

Michelle specializes in building and overseeing the firm's infrastructure, processes and talent base, as well as providing full spectrum business development support to clients seeking to do business with a broad range of governmental entities. With 10 years of experience in the State and Federal government market, she assists clients in understanding the Federal marketplace, pursuing business opportunities, and winning Federal contracts.

Michelle guides business development and research teams in achieving established goals and performance targets. In parallel, Michelle works with clients to develop competitive strategic plans for a broad range of private and public organizations. She also provides strategic and management development support, including outline development, comparative and analytical studies of industry, technical write-ups, and historical research.

Tom O'MalleyTom O'Malley – Chief Procurement Advisor

Tom brings to Kelly, Anderson over 30 years of Federal procurement experience with the Department of the Treasury headquarters, the IRS and the U.S. Air Force. His expertise in the acquisition process for high-technology products and professional services is an instrumental component of many winning proposals for Kelly, Anderson clients. He also provides extensive assistance to clients in post-award management and administration of their Government contracts.

Tom served as Senior Procurement Executive for Treasury for many years, and later as the Director of the Management Programs Directorate, where he had policy development and program oversight for Treasury-wide procurement and contracting management, small business advocacy, property management, environmental programs, historic preservation, and other administrative areas.

Michele RobinsonMichele Robinson – Media Production Associate

Michele has been with Kelly Anderson for over 20 years and has been involved with hundreds of proposals and client deliverables. Michele brings extensive knowledge and experience in proposal coordination and production for client and in-house deliverables to the government and private industry. She works closely with Proposal/Application Production Teams to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements; administers desk-top publishing and integrates graphics to produce the final products, coordinates with internal staff and outside vendors, and provides final quality assurance review of all final documents.

Michele possesses advanced skills in MS Office and Adobe products and provides training and help desk services to employees, consultants and clients. She organizes and maintains the Kelly Anderson document library and electronic document files, and creates and administrates all KAA SharePoint Sites.

LaShawn FaisonLaShawn Faison – CEO's Executive Assistant and Office Manager

As the Office Manager of Kelly, Anderson and the CEO's Executive Assistant, LaShawn provides an array of critical functions to the overall management of the Kelly, Anderson office and staff.   She works closely with the CEO to anticipate and address his needs, and ensures that all aspects of the Kelly, Anderson building are running smoothly and efficiently.  LaShawn is the point of contact for office needs, and works closely with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to meet the demands of internal and external office requirements.  In addition, LaShawn supervises the core administrative staff of Kelly, Anderson which is essential in maintaining a hospitable office environment for all guests and employees.

Brenda WallBrenda Wall – Administrative Associate

Brenda has over 11 years of service to Kelly, Anderson and exhibits great care and concern for all aspects of her position.  She provides a variety of experience and skills, including administrative support, interaction with critical customers and vendors, and handling demanding situations that arise in a professional environment.  Her duties at Kelly, Anderson include preparation of communication materials, production of research documents, and office scheduling.
