TrainingKelly, Anderson has offered training support across a number of Federal agencies. One of the key services we provide is the ability to complete a needs assessment for the organization to determine courses with the greatest return on investment for staff and managers. Different techniques are used to complete the assessment process. We have inventoried previous courses and the evaluations completed by participants, reviewed performance plans to determine areas for improvement, used the results of employee surveys to identify areas of interest, and consulted with managers regarding areas of expertise that could be enhanced for delivery of services. Kelly, Anderson also has consulted with teams assigned to oversee training in an organization to seek their input once we have collected all relevant information. We present a draft needs assessment to management, seek their input, and then finalize the list of recommended courses. The list of courses is synchronized with schedules for delivery, and methods to collecting feedback after courses are completed. In addition to the expertise in training needs assessment, we have offered courses—either from our current inventory of previously presented courses or custom designed for specialized topics. Kelly, Anderson has offered mentoring to new managers and senior executives in agencies to ensure their success. We survey employees to determine what needs exist prior to the new executive assuming their role, and then coach them over a period of time to help them address these requirements.
